Piparkakut on leivottu. Hillitön kauliminen rassaa, mutta lopputulos palkitsee. Mausteiset joulupiparkakut ovat yksinkertaisuudessaan omien suosikkikeksieni joukossa. Omena ei ole pudonnut kauas puusta, sillä isäni syö joulupiparkakkuja läpi vuoden. Itse en niitä ehkä sentään heinäkuun helteillä jaksaisi rouskutella. Piparkakkuja tehtiin jos jonkinmoisia: sydämiä, possuja, kissoja, enkeleitä ja tietysti piparkakkupoika ja sen tyttöystävä!
The gingerbreads have been baked. The rolling is laborious, but you get your reward at the end. The spicy christmas gingerbread is among my favourite cookies. The apple has not fallen far from the tree, as my dad eats gingerbread the whole year-round. I don't fancy eating them in July, when the weather is hot though. We made all shapes of gingerbread: hearts, piglets, cats, angels and of course gingerbreadboy and his girlfriend!
